This research evaluates the impact of international crises on Senegalese exports between 2010 and 2023. The econometric approach relies on the augmented gravity model and uses panel data from 30 trading partners. The results show that global crises had a significant negative effect on Senegal’s exports. The COVID-19 pandemic had a particularly marked impact, with a coefficient of -0.822 (p < 0.01), indicating a significant reduction in exports during this period. The analysis also reveals that certain structural factors, such as the GDP size of trading partners, have a positive effect on Senegal’s exports, while geographic distance acts as a barrier, reducing the intensity of trade. The results recommend that Senegalese authorities diversify exported products, strengthen logistical infrastructures, and promote regional integration through. It is also essential to enhance economic governance and improve the country's competitiveness in order to better cope with future crises.
