Abstract

This article aims to analyze the determinants of organizational innovativeness within agricultural cooperatives in the Chtouka Ait Baha province, as well as to study the diffusion and adoption rate of innovations. Based on a survey conducted among agricultural cooperatives in this region, the study applies Structural Equation Modeling to explore the proposed research model. Research on innovation adoption can be grouped into two main streams identified by Wolfe (1994). The first stream focuses on the adoption process itself, aiming to identify the different stages of this process, the obstacles encountered at each stage, and the possible solutions to overcome these challenges. The second stream, on the other hand, focuses on the innovativeness of individuals or organizations and its determinants, seeking to understand the factors that drive an individual or organization to adopt innovations more rapidly or more frequently than others do.
